THE DUST HAS SETTLED.

It has been a few weeks since we have returned home from our weekend run of shows.  Our first time going on “tour” as a band, playing two back to back shows with label mates Irah Nox and Suicide Cages.  Night one, on November 1st at The Mesa Theater in Grand Junction, CO.  with support from Borne Of Execration (CO) and Inhuman Hands (NM).  The night was a combination of excitement, stress, nervousness and JOY.  Playing for the first time live for Derik, the owner of Braeburn Records as well as the first time performing for Suicide Cages.

The venue was amazing as well as the staff.  Arriving the night before on Halloween, we scoped out The Mesa to end up spending the entire night at their Halloween Costume party they were hosting for their locals.  Eager to impress the small but highly supportive crowd the night of our show, we did run into some moments feeling overwhelmed which we noticed during our performance.  Luckily with the love and feedback from our family in Braeburn Records, we were quick to hone our focus back together for night two in SLC the following night.

The four and a half hour drive to Aces High Saloon in Salt Lake City, UT. was absolutely beautiful and luckily we didn't get pulled over by any of the cops.  Performing a special Braeburn Records Showcase on November 2nd, with Irah Nox and Suicide Cages made the entire trip come together - and for the first time we felt at home with our people.  Again with a small crowd, being the show started early in the day on a Sunday afternoon.  We could not have been more happy with the loving support of all of the new friends we made.

You can watch our full performance in SLC on YouTube.

BIG BIG THANK YOU AND LOVE TO: Derik, Devin, Mhyk, Rico, Matt, Rick, Logan, Jason, Ian and Danny from the Braeburn Family.  Cory from Black Harbor, Chris of Dehorn (also Braeburn family), Sound guy Sam at Aces High  and photographer Ethan Cook for rolling out with your homies and checking us out.

We returned home the following Monday to prepare for our homecoming show to honor Logan Lanley of Beneath The Pines.  A special benefit show to raise money after Logan was severely injured in a motorcycle accident at Solaris Brewing in Murrieta, CA.  This was a special evening for us as we welcomed Dylan Scharf from BTP, to fill in on guitar for Royce while he was out of state for a wedding.  It was an honor to share the stage with Dylan, who absolutely crushed it playing our EP live - this was also extra cool to be able to give him the opportunity to perform for one of his dearest friends who we were all there to support.  With the help of Heavens Crry, Bergota, Gaurden and Of Glory And Decay as well as contributions from local businesses who donated items for a raffle to raise money - we collected over $1,700 for Logan and his family to contribute towards medical bills.

Big Thank you to Solaris Brewing and Andrew of Discrete Studios for all of their hard work making this night extra special for everyone - our deepest gratitude goes out to the people of Murrieta, Temecula, Wildomar and Lake Elsinore for coming together as a community to make this evening something we can all be proud of - our community will continue to give us strength.
